Aussie Curves: The Shorts (and tall of it)

I was trying to work out what to do for this challenge. Whilst it is summer at the moment, its not that hot. Christmas was a bust - weather wise - as it was wet and cold. The rest of my break has been occupied with a Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon and the apparel I have worn whilst watching that is not something to blog about.

Amongst the couch surfing and the vampire slaying was my mother's birthday. So to celebrate, we had a family BBQ at my parent's house and the weather was perfect for short wearing.

Before Christmas I purchased some new denim shorts from Best and Less from their Lilly and Lou collection (which, compared to the last time I was in Best and Less, much improved). At 30% off, I was super stoked to grab a new pair.

After Christmas, I ventured into Parramatta Westfields to watch Pitch Perfect and look at some bargains. I picked up an Owl Tshirt from Mink Denim for Myer. As you can tell by the name of my blog, I love owls and this top fulfilled my owl quota for the day.

I put the two together with my trusty havianas (which includes a babushka pin), put some beach spray in my hair and revlon just bitten kissable on my lips.

I like shorts. Long shorts that is. But I don't like being photographed in them. So this is a big deal for me. 

And a warning to those with sensitive eyes - the whiteness of my legs may blind you..
